Lead Front-End Web Developer

The Position:

The Lead Web Developer is responsible for leading full-stack web development projects & ensuring the seamless integration of digital platforms and data systems. This role combines technical expertise with strategic collaboration across marketing and business intelligence teams to support Gondwana Collection Namibia’s digital transformation and customer initiatives.

General Scope and Purpose:

•Develop & maintain web applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and HubSpot.
•Integrate and manage APIs from platforms such as HubSpot, HQ Rental, Shopify, and Tourplan to ensure smooth data flow and system interoperability.
•Manage HubSpot databases (HubDB) powering all dynamic content and modules. Ensure SEO best practices, optimize all pages for Google Search, and maintain link integrity across all sites.
•Manage and mentor a junior web developer, fostering growth and ensuring high-quality output through guidance and support.
