FINANCIAL , LOGISTICS & ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER – Welwitchia Integrated Services

VACANCY 

Position: 1x Finance, Logistics and Administrative Officer
Duty Station: Windhoek City Campus

Primary Purpose of the Position

• Support the finance team and WIS by:

  • Maintaining financial records

  • Processing payments, receipts, orders, cash handling, and staff expenses (salaries/overtime)

  • Providing finance reports to the COO and Director of Finance

• Coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution of goods (including fresh produce)

• Ensure efficient management and optimization of WIS supply chain operations

• Provide administrative support for WIS operations (project activities, general administration, and COO support)

• Liaise and provide support for other units (HR, finance, procurement) within WIS and WUG

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration (majoring in finance or supply chain management), or relevant qualification

• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience (at least 3 years at a supervisory level)

• Valid Code B Driver’s License

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience in financial reporting and analysis

• Knowledge of logistics principles and practices

• Proficiency in relevant software systems (e.g., accounting software, logistics software)

• Completion of articles with a reputable audit firm is an added advantage
