VACANCY
The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) exists to promote and represent the interests of Namibia’s private sector. Its core mandate is to advocate for a conducive business environment, drive national economic competitiveness, support member development, and foster public-private dialogue that unlocks inclusive growth opportunities.
Purpose of Role
The Finance, Administration & HR Officer ensures that NCCI’s internal operations are efficient, compliant, and strategically aligned. This role leads the internal performance engine—integrating finance, administration, HR, and membership operations to enable the Chamber to fulfill its strategic objectives.
Key Performance Areas
1. Financial Management and Controls
-
Oversee reconciliations and cash flow.

Process invoices and payments.

Prepare and review monthly financial reports.
-
Maintain compliance and audit-ready documentation.
-
Monitor adherence to budget allocations and flag deviations.
-
Identify financial risks and recommend corrective action.
2. Office Operations
-
Coordinate utilities, office supplies, and vendor services.
-
Maintain valid service contracts and escalate any lapses.
-
Coordinate logistics for meetings, internal events, and travel.
-
Maintain office cleanliness and functionality.
3. Human Resources Administration
-
Facilitate employee contracts and payroll inputs.
-
Support onboarding and exit procedures.
-
Lead implementation and review of organisational policies.

Guide line managers on employee relations matters.

Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant HR files.
-
Supervise internal Support Teams.
4. Membership Services
-
Maintain an up-to-date and accurate member database.

Track membership renewals and coordinate invoicing.

Support logistical planning of member-related events.

Support resolution of member queries.
-
Ensure front-desk staff consistently deliver quality service.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Certification in financial management or HR will be an advantage.
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years in finance, administration, HR, or a related field.
