Vacancy: Director of Operations

Green Charcoal Namibia is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee our biomass processing operations and drive excellence across automation, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a production team of 100+ employees in a biomass processing facility.
• Oversee automation systems, factory operations, and continuous process optimization.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and safety & health standards.
• Drive strategic planning, operational efficiency, and team development.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in factory operations with a focus on biomass processing, industrial automation, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in quality assurance, process optimization, and team leadership.
• Advanced degree (Master’s preferred) in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of safety and health regulations in industrial settings.
• Proficient in computer applications and ERP systems to manage operations effectively.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English; French is an added advantage.
