Primary purpose of the position:
We are looking for a talented and motivated digital marketing and sales specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies for our clients to drive their online traffic, generate leads, and increase sales. You will work closely with clients to convert leads into customers and achieve their campaign targets. In addition, you will be responsible for incorporating the online channels of The Namibian, Desert Radio and WhatsOn into clients’ digital marketing strategies.
Key responsibilities:

achieving monthly revenue targets (split across digital platforms),
-
acquiring new clients,
-
providing campaign performance metrics (e.g. conversion rates, engagement, and ROI) for internal campaigns and external clients,
-
addressing client feedback, logging and resolving queries/complaints,
-
providing client active/inactive ratio and yielding upselling/cross-selling success, and
-
converting leads into closed deals.
Qualifications and experience:
-
a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field,
-
proven experience (three to five years) in digital marketing and sales, with a strong understanding of current digital marketing tools and strategies,
-
excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
-
strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions,
-
proficiency in using digital marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, other social media and online advertising and email marketing software,
-
experience with search engine optimization and content marketing, and
-
the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
