DELIVERY DRIVER – Steel Force

LOCATION: WINDHOEK & SWAKOPMUND

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Ensure safe and efficient loading and securing of goods for local deliveries.
* Conduct routine vehicle checks and ensure the truck is roadworthy before each trip.
* Deliver goods to customers in town in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist with offloading and confirm delivery quantities with customers.
* Accurately complete delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional conduct and service.
* Report any delivery issues, damages, or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
* Keep accurate records of distances traveled, fuel usage, and delivery notes.
* Maintain the vehicle in a clean and presentable condition.
* Adhere to company transport procedures, road regulations, and safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS – THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

* Minimum Grade 10 or 12.
* Namibian citizen with a valid passport.
* Valid Code C, or CE Driver’s License.
* Operating a truck crane is highly advantageous.
* At least 5 years of relevant driving and delivery experience.
* Excellent knowledge of Windhoek or Swakopmund.
* Familiarity with the steel or hardware industry is highly advantageous.
* Strong communication and customer service skills (English and Afrikaans).
* Responsible, punctual, and of sober habits.
