Salary scale : N$269,189 – N$321,707
Housing allowance : N$13,080 per annum
Transport allowance : N$7,6 80 per annum
Minimum requirements: A 3-year National Diploma in Natural Resource Management
(Nature Conservation), Forestry or Agriculture or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6 with
Botany as a subject. At least 6 years’ relevant experience in providing technical support to
research activities. A valid driver’s license (Code B / BE) and experience in botanical
fieldwork would serve as an advantage.

Overall responsibilities:
The staff member will be responsible for overseeing all administrative activities, compiling the
institutional annual procurement plan in consultation with all section heads, oversee
procurement of goods and services, supervision of staff, customer care, maintain institutional
infrastructure, maintain institutional fleet, report writing, liaise with relevant offices at the head
office of the Ministry; provide technical support to research activities, information provision,
any other related tasks as delegated by the supervisor.
