GENERAL MANAGER: HUMAN RESOURCES (GRADE E2)
Duty Station: Head Office
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Purpose: To strategically lead the HR function at NTA according to best practice standards.
Key Performance Areas:
• Budget Management: Participate in annual budgeting, monitoring and control processes.
• Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning and execution process of the NTA as a full member of the executive team.
• Human Resources Leadership: Develop and ensure implementation and compliance of all human resources policies and procedures, including recruitment and selection, remuneration and benefits, training and development, employment equity, performance management, employee relations, inter alia.
• Stakeholder Management (Internal- and External): Liaise with executive team on relevant strategic matters.
• Leadership: Provide strategic direction to all Human Resources employees.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• A Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification, from a recognised institution (NQF Level 9).
• Ten (10) years’ relevant experience, of which five (5) years’ at a middle management and two (2) years’ at a senior management level capacity.
