SHERQ COORDINATOR
Job Summary: Action implementation plans to ensure compliance and maintenance of SHEQ standards.
Collaborate with Line Managers and operating staff to develop SHEQ procedures and documents that support
SHEQ policies and enables effective compliance monitoring and the effectiveness of policies and procedures.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Type of Employment: Permanent
Reporting To: The SHERQ Manager
Location: Tsumeb
Department: Depot & Traffic
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Perform predetined internal audits and assist with external audits within your areas of responsibility.
- Identify risks and corrective actions that will ensure compliance with the Divisions Continual
- Improvement Plan and Contractual Agreements.
- Monitor the site and / or operational activities / processes to ensure compliance with the Division’s policies, procedures, legal, customer and company’s requirements.
- Measure the level of SHEQ effectiveness and take action to remedy sub-standard performance or improve existing levels of performance.
- Review the site and / or operational risk assessment and conduct checks selected individual risks.
- Review driver working and driving hours to ensure that company a Adhere to Divisional SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Ensure that Housekeeping Standards are maintained in accordance company procedures and contractual requirements.
- Recommend changes or improvements in SHEQ Process to the Regional
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Qualification in Health & Safety
- MS Excel & Office intermediate training / proficiency
- Valid code B driver’s license.
- Advanced knowledge of Safety / Risk Management would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 Years experience in a similar position wouk be advantageous.
- Experience in the transport & logistics environment would be advantageous.
