SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Location: The position will be based in Windhoek but will require travel in and out of the country.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;
Ensure that the company meets its business goals in terms of sales, growth, market share and profitability in the assigned territory.
SALES;
⦁ Develop direct sales territory utilizing proper territory management techniques.
⦁ Develop and implement a strategy to achieve mutually agreed upon targets for market share growth, revenue growth, and share of customer.
⦁ Develop and maintain positive relationships with established customers through close management of the accounts and attention to their needs.
⦁ Assess and define customer application requirements so that the correct product is promoted/sold while ensuring integrity in the application of those products.
⦁ Service:
⦁ Ensure adequate customer product support, by working closely with other departments.
⦁ Communicate customer requirements immediately and assist, when tasked, with the coordination of service-related activities.
⦁ Plan, organize and administer equipment demonstrations as per set procedures.
COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITIES;
⦁ Ccxnmunicate market activities to Management and work together to secure orders.
⦁ Communicate service and product support issues with the Service manager and Customer service manager.
⦁ Prepare information for sales meetings & conference calls.
⦁ Prepare activity reports, and an update on sales prospects.
⦁ Collect and submit data to maintain a customer information database.
⦁ Maintain competitor information (specifications, market share etc.)
⦁ Report industry trends relating to equipment, market & application.
⦁ Participate in equipment shows and association meetings
⦁ File customer complaints to the respective managers, so that they may be addressed in a systematic and logical manner.
EDUCATIONALQUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
⦁ Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing/Engineering, or the equivalent years of related experience and/ or training.
⦁ A minimum of 5 years of practical related experience in the mining or construction equipment field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
⦁ Valid Class 4 Driver’s License.
⦁ Good knowledge and understanding of Epiroc products.
⦁ Computer literacy.

⦁ Excellent interpersonal skills.
⦁ Self-starter.
⦁ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment..
