REQUIREMENTS
Manage the accounts and ensure transaction are accurately accounted for and all payments are timely
Namibian citizens
Proof of no criminal record.
A relevant, internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree
in Accounting, Finance at (NQF 7)
Three years’ relevant experience
Valid Drivers’ License
Capture and process daily transactions on the Sage 300 accounting system
Prepare creditors reconciliation on a monthly basis for review by Senior Accounts Officer
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation for review by Senior Accounts Officer
Ensure accurate reports from the Sage 300 accounting system
Ensure payments are made within the payment cycles
Summarise inputs and submit summary report for review by Senior Accounts Officer
Provide auditors with all documents that they require during audits
Compile utility bills, separate them according to the cost centres and calculate the total amounts
Ensure that all transactions are captured on the Sage 300 accounting system on a timely basis
Prepare aging report on all outstanding payments and advances
Keep and maintain a register for all incoming invoices
Safeguard documents, ensure appropriate filing and audit trail of all transaction
