Job Description
We are looking for pleasant and competitive Promoters that thrives in attracting new customers. The successful candidates will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Promoters demonstrate and provide information on products or services for various brands and/or companies. Their duties include showing potential customers how a product or service works. They also answer questions and aim to convince customers to buy a product or service. An online promoter uses the Internet to create public awareness for a brand, service, product, group, or organization. Promote products, services, events and initiatives of various types. The work done by promoters is a blend of direct marketing and sales. Promoters need to know the product or initiative they are promoting extremely well. For this reason, the company or organization will often deliver a brief initial training session designed to provide promoters with the information they need to be able to reply to questions from clients in a thorough and convincing manner. The online promoter can use social networking platforms to advertise the content, It’s vital that online promoters understand technology processes like search engine optimization, how to design and use a website and the process for posting according to algorithms. Online promoters use marketing strategies to promote content, products and brands to people using the internet. They use their strategic thinking skills to develop products for marketability and conduct research on the target consumer base.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answering any questions potential customers might have about a product or service.
- Demonstrating and providing information on promoted products/services.
- Creating a positive brand image for the purpose of leading consumers to use our products.
- Demonstrate how a product is to be used and speak as an authority on how to use it, going over all the essential specifications.
- Building sustainable relationships and partnerships with other key players.
Skills
- Effective writing, speaking, presenting and active listening skills
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with management, team members, clients and customers where applicable
- Familiarity with content management systems, web page analytic, customer relationship management and other relevant software
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
- Time management skills, like goal-setting and deadline management
- Great organization and prioritization abilities
- Comfortable in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of Ms Office
- Experience using smartphones, tablets and laptops
Minimum Requirements
- Age 20-28
- At least Ordinary level/ Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
- Any Advanced level/diploma/degree is an added advantage
- Able to travel
- Proficient in English
