Education & Skills:
Basic life support certificate or;
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical sciences or equivalent
Diploma in sales or extensive Sales training
Additional Competencies:
3-5 years’ experience as a Sales Representative
Relevant knowledge of and experience in orthopedic products
Regional knowledge and ability to form relationships
Reporting skills
Ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge about applicable products and markets
Basic computer skills.
Flexible to work late and unscheduled hours.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to keep up-to-date with current market conditions.
Goal-orientated and able to meet set targets.
Valid driver’s license and own transport essential. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.
Responsibilities:
Is primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Represents Erongomed and Avacare Health at large, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals, in the areas of orthopedics and wound care management.
Consults surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments.
Provides assistance, Guidance, Training and advisory to health care professionals on orthopedic products.
Implements new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
Cross-sells additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
Addresses any problems that arise at the account.
Supports compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; adhering to applicable, local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & procedures.
Establishes, builds, and maintains customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments.
Increases territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
Communicates with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
