An opportunity exists for interested and qualified candidates to apply for the mentioned position at Namib Mills (Pty) Ltd in Windhoek.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide a one-stop, Human Resources (HR) service to the relevant Departments. To design, maintain and implement HR policies, procedures, services, roles and functions for inter alia: retention, remuneration, performance management, discipline, equity employment and roles associated there to.
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure good Human Resources practices through compliance to company standards and procedures.
• Creating and regular updating of organograms and workforce plans.
• Ensure regular Human Resources reporting and compiling of HR metric reports.
• Ensure effective recruitment (advertisements and interviews) of allocated Departments.
• Ensure effective enrollment (contracts, benefits, salary offers, IT requests, contract amendments, personnel files etc.) of allocated Departments.
• Ensure effective and timeous termination process of employees.
• Ensure effective performance evaluation (coordinating bi-annual evaluation for employees, monitoring of completion and capturing results) of allocated Departments.
• Industrial Relations – ensuring effective and corrective handling and coordinating of disciplinary processes by providing administrative support and advising Management and Employees.
• Ensure the effective implementation of Injury On Duty, as well as Medical Incapacitation processes, in accordance with Policies and Procedures.
• Compiling and advising on internal, as well as external, salary and job grade benchmarking.
• Additional HR specialized functions within the HR department.
• Assist with Ad Hoc duties as required from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Honour’s degree in Industrial Psychology with five (5) years relevant experience.
• Experience in Psychometric Assessment and training in SHL will be advantageous.
• Namibian citizen or eligible to apply for Namibian citizenship.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Thorough knowledge of Namibian Labour Legislation.
• Knowledge of the Accsys system will be an added advantage.
• Computer literate with a good mastering of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be willing to travel and work overtime.
