AUDIT SUPERVISORS
Purpose:
Reporting to the Audit Partner, the Manager is responsible for performing day-to-day auditing related activities as assigned to him / her by the Senior Audit Manager/Audit Partner.
In particular, the Audit Manager is responsible to:
- Understand the Firms Risk and Quality procedures, ensuring adherence to these by self and sub-ordinates;
- Contribute to the culture of Quality, Ethical and Professional Behaviour of the Firm in a positive manner
Responsibilities:
- Interpret, understand and execute the detailed instructions / audit programme / assignment to meet the Client expectations on each assignment;
- Understand the departmental budget and objective of the department;
- Explain and set-up of Level 1 until Level 4 Audit Trainees to execute detailed instructions / accounting programmes / assignments;
- Supervise, train and assist Level 1 until Level 4 Audit Trainees in their execution of detailed instructions / auditing programmes / assignments;
Experience and Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant/Chartered Certified Accountnat and registered with a recognised institute (ICAN, ACCA, SAICA)
- 10 Years experience in Auditing
- 3-5 Years management experience;
- PAAB Registered assessor;
- Clear understanding of the PAAB training process;
- Excellent working knowledge of the latest PAAB training regulations;
- High workable knowledge of CaseWare working papers, APT (BDO International audit program), MS Office, Pastel Accounting and Payroll etc.;
- Dedicated and ambitious personality, with a passion to deliver the highest quality service to our clients;
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Ability to work independintly and in a team;
- Ability to work under pressure.
