Position :Regional Coordinator -Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) Grade 10
Total Cost to Company :NS 248,412.00 Per Annum
Duration : 01 November 2021 to 31 December 2023 (Fixed term contract)
Duty Station :Omusati Region – Outapi
Primary Role
The incumbent will be expected to coordinate the activities in the region for Adolescent Girls and Young Women Programmes by the relevant sectors and Civil Society. The Coordinator will work with different stakeholders/partners such as Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Services, Ministry of Youth Sport and National Services, Intrahealth Namibia and others on program implementation that pertain to adolescents and ensure that the project is responsive to the unique needs of AGYW.
• The incumbent will Report to the Regional Management Team: Family Health Division
Appointment Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree at NQF Level 7 in Nursing Management/ Education/Public Health or equivalents qualifications plus three (3) years’ relevant working experience and sound basic understanding of Adolescent Friendly Health Services (AFHS) interventions
• At least two (2) years working experience in SRH/HIV and Adolescent Friendly Health Services will be added advantage
