Global Fund Grant VACANCY
The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) with support from the Global Fund Grant is looking for dynamic, suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the following vacancies
Position :Malaria Surveillance and Clinical Mentors (SeniorRegistered Nurse) Grade 7
Total Cost to Company : N$388,424.52 Per Annum
Duration :01 November 2021 to 31 December 2023 (Fixed term contract)
Duty Station :Ohangwena: Okongo District
Omusati: Oshikuku District
Primary Role
To improve malaria case management and surveillance, support continuous Strengthening of existing passive and active surveillance system, capacitate health workers and regional staff on surveillance and case management, strengthen data management and use at all levels for evidence-based actions, support quality control of malaria diagnosis and treatment activities, support behaviour change interventions among health workers and community, strengthen the implementation of malaria case management at the community level and support the development of annual work plan and other duties assigned by the District, Region and National Vendor-Born Disease Control Programme (NVDCP).
Appointment Requirements
• Registration as Registered Nurse at the Nursing Council with a valid Practice Card, plus three (03) years’ working experience in nursing
OR
• Registration as Midwife at the Nursing Council Registration with a valid Practice Card, plus three (03) years’ working experience in nursing
