Aroab Village Council is a statutory local authority under Namibia’s Local Authorities Act, serving the village of Aroab in the //Karas Region. It delivers essential municipal services including water supply, waste management, local road maintenance, and community planning. The council operates from Aroab village, approximately 120 km northeast of Keetmanshoop, and is accountable to residents through elected councillors. As one of Namibia’s recognized village councils, it receives conditional grants from the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development to support service delivery and infrastructure projects.
