This position will be responsible for the general repairs and maintenance of our luxury lodge, Onduli Ridge in the Damaraland area.

Key Responsibilities
- Check sewage plant and make sure all pumps and blowers are running.
- Check main water tanks level and take meter readings.
- Check pool chemical levels and adjust if needed.
- Carry guest luggage with guides to guest and guide rooms.
- Inspect bathrooms and canteen, tighten any taps that are loose, clean aerators and shower head filters.
- Clean and repack maintenance storeroom and count all stock for month end.
- Dip diesel and petrol with the manager for the month end count.
- Clean solar at boreholes
- Fix main area glass doors and guest room louvers.
- Coordinate road maintenance
- Clean air conditioning end evening breeze filters – inside and outside.
Requirements
- Must be a Namibian citizen.
- Must be a member of one of our JV Conservancies – Doro! Nawas, Sorris Sorris and Uibasen
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- At least 2 years work experience at a luxury lodge
- Excellent spoken and written English and/or Afrikaans
- Experience or qualification as a carpenter, plumber, welder or mechanic is essential
- Strong ethics, reliability and attention to detail
- Position requires long and flexible working hours
