Creditors Clerk
The position reports to the Creditors Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate creditors processing, reconciliations, payment preparation, query resolution, filing, and general administrative support for a group of companies operating in the fishing industry in Walvis Bay.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a good understanding of creditors processing policies, practices, and procedures.
- Adhere to monthly reporting and payment deadlines.
- Work quickly, accurately, and with attention to detail.
- Capture supplier invoices accurately and timeously for payment.
- Reconcile creditors’ accounts and follow up on outstanding items.
- Resolve internal and external creditor queries promptly and professionally.
- Prepare monthly payment allocations and supporting documentation.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
- Maintain effective filing and record keeping.
Requirements
- Creditors processing experience; fishing industry experience will be an advantage.
- Relevant accounting or administrative qualification will be preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Excel and experience using Pastel Evolution or a similar ERP system.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Honest, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Namibian citizen.
