Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and contractual functions of road and highway construction projects.
- Review, negotiate, and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Lead the preparation and submission of claims, extensions of time, and dispute resolutions.
- Conduct cost analysis and provide financial forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Manage procurement strategies and supplier/subcontractor agreements.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, consultants, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Commercial Management is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in commercial management within road, highway, or civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure contracts.
- Strong understanding of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
- Experience in claims management, contract administration, and project cost control.
