CREDITORS CLERK – M+Z Motors / M&Z Investments 6 views

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure computerized orders issued and matched with invoices
• Verify and process all creditors invoices accurately and efficiently
• Allocate invoices to correct expense accounts
• Investigate and resolve all creditors queries
• Reconcile creditors accounts to statements
• Prepare EFT payments on creditors accounts
• Maintain updated suppliers list (assist in opening new accounts and maintaining existing ones)
• Administer petty cash
• Ensure invoices and approved reconciliations accurately and efficiently filed
• Ensure invoices comply with VAT requirements
• Ensure invoices authorised within agreed department authority
• Ensure dealership requisition books kept safe and secure
• Print age analysis, remittance advice and outstanding orders lists monthly
• Renewals of all contracts. MTC, etc.
• Ordering of Stationary & managing Stationary stock
• Accurate completion of Credit/Vendor application forms
• Attend to other administration & finance duties as required
• Must be willing to work overtime within target date structures

Requirements

• Namibian citizen with minimum Grade 12
• Compliance certificate of Code of Conduct at Nampol is a requirement
• Customer orientated
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications (Automate Evolve & Excel experience will be added advantage)
• Financial knowledge and experience (qualification an advantage)
• Accurate, strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to take initiative in assisting when required
• Team player with neat and professional outgoing personality
• Must be willing to work overtime within target date structures
• Perform well under pressure
