Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate workshop technicians and apprentices and ensure efficient workflow, job allocation, and turnaround times
- Maintain quality control and adherence to manufacturer standards and assist with technical diagnostics and problem-solving and ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards and support training, mentoring, and performance management of staff
- Liaise with Service Advisors and Management as required
- Categorise jobs daily in terms of major/minor services and repairs, electrical and sublets.
- Responsible to assign jobs taking cognisance of technical skills, ensuring optimal resource utilisation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
- Responsible to monitor progress of jobs allocated against work waiting to be allocated and ensure that all work is completed to the required TSAM and Indongo Automotive Group standards.
- Facilitating of clear communication and team collaboration.
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to achieve daily targets.
- Initiate and generate activity and introduce changes into work processes.

- Computer Literacy (MS Office and Motodata)
- Recognized trade qualification (Motor/Diesel Mechanic or equivalent) and minimum 3-5 years’ workshop experience, with supervisory exposure
- Toyota franchise experience will be advantageous
- Driver’s license compulsory
