Osino Gold Exploration and Mining (Pty) Ltd is seeking a responsible person to supervise exploration projects to achieve operational and technical objectives in the development and implementation of exploration projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and communicate drilling, geochemical sampling, and geophysical campaigns as planned and budgeted for the assigned project area.
- Check and validate all project data (geological and study-related) to ensure accuracy and completeness, including the identification of missing datasets, problematic surveys, and faulty imports or exports to and from the database.
- Ensure the timely delivery of project progress reports reflecting identified exploration and operational opportunities to optimise mineral resources.
- Manage and guide direct reports to ensure employee wellbeing and to ensure that field personnel and contractors meet production and quality standards.
- Contribute to a positive and productive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Honours degree in Geology.
- Seven (7) years’ experience in exploration geology, preferably in relevant gold deposits.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Previous experience in developing and implementing exploration programmes.
