Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors by sweeping wet/dry moping, spray buffing and polishers.
• Mixes cleaning solutions and uses equipment such as mops and buffers.
• Clean/wash/disinfects sink, toilet, mirrors, walls, etc.
• Vacuums and cleans carpet areas using vacuums and steam cleaners.
• Clean windows, doors, vents and light fixtures, etc.
• Reports repairs and maintenance required to supervisor as required.
• Dusts tables, windowsills, cabinets, etc. as required.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and rest rooms fixture and appliances.
• Clean areas surrounding buildings, such as paths and entrances.
• Ensures safety of area.
• Prepares and serves refreshment as required.
• Waters and cleans all indoors plants.
• Post, collect and sort mail when required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic literacy.
• Year related prove experience.
• Demonstrates ability to perform heavy duty cleaning.
• Fundamental knowledge of and experience in using cleaning equipment and materials.
• Ability to lift heavy items.
• Ability to maintain co-operative working relationships with staff and customers.
• General knowledge of Occupation Health and Safety.
• Attach recently certified copy of Identity Card or Voter’s Registration as proof of residence.
• Attach recently certified Testimonial (s) and other relevant documents.
