Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
• Provide rehabilitation for patients with orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical conditions
• Implement manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation programs
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Educate patients on recovery, injury prevention, and home-based rehabilitation exercises
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA) as a Physiotherapist
• 5-10 years’ relevant clinical experience, preferably in orthopaedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation
• Strong clinical reasoning and treatment planning skills
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation
• Exposure to sports physiotherapy, manual therapy, or musculoskeletal rehabilitation
• Experience in a private practice or hospital environment
