Namibia Medical Care (NMC) is seeking a Compliance Specialist (Windhoek | Permanent). To safeguard regulatory integrity and strengthen the compliance framework. This is a high-impact role where expertise is used to protect the organization’s licence, uphold its reputation, and ensure responsible stewardship of members’ healthcare funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and oversee NMC’s Compliance Framework
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitoring reviews
- Liaise with NAMFISA and manage regulatory submissions
- Oversee AML/CFT compliance processes
- Provide governance reporting and advisory support to the Board
- Guide management on regulatory interpretation and policy alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Law, Risk, Finance or related field
- 5-8 years’ compliance experience (min. 3 years in a regulated environment)
- Strong understanding of Namibian regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical and advisory capability
- High ethical standards and sound professional judgment
