Namibia Medical Care (NMC) Public Relations & Communications Officer (Windhoek | Permanent) Role Purpose To amplify the organization’s voice and strengthen engagement with members, partners, and the community. This role is focused on strategic storytelling to build a trusted brand and shaping how members experience and understand their healthcare cover through clear and transparent communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive impactful corporate communication initiatives
- Manage media relations and strengthen stakeholder engagement
- Create compelling digital and social media content
- Develop clear, member-friendly communication materials
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
- Support events, campaigns, and health awareness initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in PR, Communications, Journalism or Marketing
- 3-5 years’ experience in corporate communications or public relations
- Strong writing, editing, and digital media skills
- Professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
- Healthcare or financial services experience (advantageous)
