Ernst Baumgart Nachfolger Trading (an import business) is an equal opportunity employer and has one (1) vacant position for a Stock Controller, permanently based in Swakopmund. This is a full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Friday and every second Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of stock reconciliation, cycle counting, auditing, and FIFO/FEFO principles.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, stock reconciliation). Familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is required.
- Clear communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating effectively with warehouse staff and sales teams.
- Knowledge on Pricing and Price List to assist Sales teams with correct information in short notice.
- Knowledge of general Health & Safety protocols within a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and under pressure with deadlines.
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate required.
- A Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration would be an advantage.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in a stock control or inventory management role in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or retail distribution environment is essential.
- Experience in Pricing and price listings.
