Job Title: SALES OPS EXECUTIVE (DIRECTOR LEVEL)
As a Sales Ops Executive, reporting to the Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales teams and ensuring that sales goals and objectives are achieved. You will be expected to develop and implement strategies to improve Key Performance Indicators, develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, while leading the sales and operational teams to ensure that goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics that align with business objectives.
- Manage and optimise the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness at each stage.
- Optimise supply chain iro. NOD’s and NDD’s, ensuring OTIF targets are met.
- Analyse sales data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports and insights on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Champion streamlining and automation processes within the sales function.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts and budgets, monitoring sales performance against targets and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Provide sales support and guidance to the team, including training on sales tools, processes, and techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Warehouse and Distribution, to ensure alignment and seamless coordination in achieving sales objectives.
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Develop and train team members for operational excellence.
- Stay abreast of market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for business growth.
Requirements
- Namibian Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field, with consistent performance in tertiary results.
- HG Matric Maths, 60% or above.
- Proven experience as a Key Accounts or Sales Operations Executive in the FMCG sector, with a minimum of 5 years at Senior Management level.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, such as Salesforce and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales and revenue metrics.
