We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer / Regional Manager to take a hands-on role in buying and operational execution at store level. The position requires active involvement in purchasing, stock management, and direct engagement with key customers to drive availability, competitive pricing, and strong commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day buying, supplier negotiation, and stock management
- Maintain optimal stock levels, turnover, and margin performance
- Build and manage relationships with key and repeat customers
- Actively support store and warehouse operations
- Drive sales growth, availability, and execution of promotions
- Monitor performance against agreed KPIs and standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior buying, operations, or commercial roles within grocery, wholesale, or cash & carry retail
- Strong negotiation and hands-on buying skills
- Experience working directly with high-volume or key customers
- Solid understanding of stock control, operations, and retail compliance
- Strong communication and leadership ability
