Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate teaching and learning in accordance with CBET principles and HPCNA requirements
• Deliver theoretical and practical modules in Auxiliary Nursing Science
• Supervise and assess clinical practice and workplace-based learning
• Develop lesson plans, study guides, and assessment instruments
• Conduct formative and summative assessments
• Participate in internal moderation and quality assurance processes
• Provide mentorship and academic support to students
• Ensure compliance with HPCNA standards, NQA requirements, and institutional policies

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA)
• Bachelor’s Degree or Comprehensive Diploma In Nursing and Midwifery Science
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience (post-registration)
• Experience in clinical teaching or nursing education (advantageous)
• Sound knowledge of nursing ethics, scope of practice, and Namibian health regulations
• Strong clinical and practical nursing skills
• Ability to integrate theory with bedside practice
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills
• High level of professionalism and ethical conduct
• Strong student supervision and mentorship ability
