Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate teaching and learning in accordance with CBET principles and NQA requirements
• Deliver lectures, develop lesson plans, study guides, and assessment instruments
• Conduct formative and summative assessments
• Participate in moderation, quality assurance, and accreditation compliance processes
• Provide academic support and mentorship to students
• Contribute to curriculum review and continuous quality improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Public Health (Level 8), or related field
• Master’s Degree in OHSE, Public Health or related discipline (advantageous)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education will be advantageous (Level 8)
• At least 3-5 years industry experience in occupational health, safety and environmental practice
• Knowledge of Namibian labour legislation, environmental regulations, and OHSE compliance frameworks
• Strong understanding of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET)
• Strong academic writing and research supervision skills
• Ability to integrate theory with practical industry application
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ethical, professional, and student-centered approach
