Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is seeking a GENERAL MANAGER NAMIBIA. The role will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The General Manager will be required to develop and execute the country’s business strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business transformation initiatives to ensure agility, operational efficiency, and long-term market leadership
- Ensure superior customer service and market responsiveness by optimizing supply chain and commercial operations
- Strengthen partnerships with key customers and suppliers to drive sales growth and improve service levels
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements, cost management, and digital innovation
- Foster a high-performance, productivity-driven culture to enhance business efficiency and competitiveness
- Ensure full compliancy with CCBA policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Establish a strong governance culture, embedding ethical leadership and risk management principles
- Engage with government, regulators, and community leaders to strengthen CCBA’s market position and influence policies
- Drive ESG initiatives to enhance sustainability, corporate responsibility, and brand reputation
- Develop and retain high-performing leadership teams, ensuring a strong talent pipeline for future growth
- Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement to drive organizational success.
Requirements
- MBA or post-graduate qualification in Marketing, Sales or General Management
- Minimum fifteen (15) years’ of leadership experience within FMCG/ Beverage industries
- Ability to set a clear long-term direction and successfully navigate complex, fast-changing business environments
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive strategies to drive sustainable business growth
- Expertise in managing budgets, P&L, and financial forecasting while ensuring efficient, cost-effective operations
- Capability to inspire, develop, and lead high-performing teams to achieve organizational goals
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government, customers, and the broader community
- Expertise in leading organizational change, driving innovation, and delivering successful transformation initiatives.
- Written & oral ability of English (Proficiency in an indigenous language will be an added advantage).
- Code BE driver’s license
