We are seeking an experienced SMPP Supervisor to join the Twin Hills Project team. The successful candidate will oversee and administer construction activities within their assigned project area, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance. This role requires broad knowledge of the EPCM project delivery model, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate contractors effectively on a dynamic mining construction site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction contractors and subcontractors to ensure structural, mechanical, platework, and piping works meet quality and industry standards
- Oversee progress against project plans, schedules, budgets, and performance targets, reporting deficiencies and non-conformance issues
- Interpret drawings and specifications, as well as assist with estimating, scheduling, cost control, and reporting for assigned project areas
- Serve as the site point of contact for contractors, fostering effective communication and coordination across disciplines
- Ensure compliance with Osino HSE policies, participate in toolbox meetings, and maintain a safe, clean work environment
Requirements
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent qualification
- 8-10 years’ onsite experience on major projects, preferably in minerals processing or related industries
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead discipline-focused site teams
- Broad knowledge of EPCM project delivery, construction practices, and industry standards
- Experience working on construction sites in other African countries will be an advantage
- Computer literacy (MS Office and relevant systems)
- Valid driver’s license and medical fitness for site work
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project schedules require
