Virtua Technologies (Pty) Ltd is seeking a motivated and results-driven IT Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for pre-sales, sales, and post-sales support of hardware and software solutions, in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities, growth areas, and potential customers
- Follow up on leads, conduct cold calls, and arrange client meetings
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations and product demonstrations
- Develop quotations, proposals, and sales contracts
- Respond to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and tender documents
- Provide professional after-sales support and trustworthy customer feedback
- Advise clients on technical specifications, installations, and software features
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and promote upgrades and additional products
- Meet individual and team sales targets
- Stay informed on new technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Diploma in Information Technology or Sales
- 2-3 years’ experience in the ICT environment
- 1-2 years’ experience in a sales or customer service role
- Good technical understanding with enthusiasm for new technology and its commercial application
- Persuasive and influential verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly with confident presentation skills
- Valid driver’s license
