Lewcor Group HIAB OPERATOR (12 Month contract). To work on a project at Rössing Mine, based in ARANDIS/SWAKOPMUND.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HIAB crane to load, offload, and transport materials and equipment
- Ensure correct slinging, lifting, and placement of loads in accordance with safety standards
- Conduct daily vehicle and crane inspections and report defects timeously
- Maintain accurate logbooks and inspection records
- Adhere strictly to company policies, traffic regulations, and site safety procedures
- Assist with general loading and offloading duties when required
- Maintain good housekeeping of vehicle and work area
Requirements
- Namibian ID
- Grade 10 / Grade 12 or Technical Equivalent
- Valid Code C / CE Driver’s License
- Valid PDP
- Valid HIAB / Truck-Mounted Crane Operator Certificate
- Valid Code of Conduct (not older than 6 months)
- Minimum of 2-3 years proven experience operating a HIAB / truck-mounted crane
- Contactable references
- Medically fit with sober habits
