Lewcor Group is seeking a dynamic and qualified buyer for a project at Rössing Mine. Based in ARANDIS/SWAKOPMUND.
Key Responsibilities
- The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing mining equipment, technical goods, materials, and services to ensure uninterrupted site operations, cost efficiency, and compliance with quality and safety standards, as well as maintaining an effective and well-managed on-site store to support operational requirements.
Requirements
- Namibian ID
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Code of Conduct (not older than 6 months)
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- 2-3 years’ proven experience in the procurement and purchasing of mining equipment
- Strong technical knowledge of mining and automotive equipment components and supply chains
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
