Key Responsibilities

• Risk & Compliance Governance and Frameworks: Review, implement and maintain legal, regulatory and funder Risk and Compliance-related frameworks/structures, policies, procedures and processes.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Risk & Compliance Programme and/or Plans inputs, preparations, reviews & developments
• Risk Management: Continuous Risk management and monitoring, incl. scenario planning and development of risk indicators.
• Risk Management Models, Techniques and Approaches: Develop appropriate models, techniques and approaches that serve to manage and minimize risk within the company.
• Risk Management Monitoring and Analysis System/Services: Risk- & Compliance effectiveness monitoring, assist with follow up on auditing & advisory Services Reports (incl. follow through on audit report findings, etc.); assist with developing and/or refining systems/services for automation and digitization of risk- and compliance related functionalities.
• Risk Management Information/Recommendations/Reports/Training and Awareness: Risk- & Compliance training & awareness programmes & implementations. Develop standard and ad hoc information gathering and reporting mechanisms to ensure effective informational monitoring, analysis and feedback to various parties that are involved in the risk management process or are users of outcomes, creating a risk-aware culture
• Social and Environmental Performance Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of PostFin’s environmental and social performance framework, including its targets and initiatives, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance, effective staff training, and regular reporting to management in line with set standards and policies.
• Other ad hoc tasks if/where required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, compliance management, or similar field plus 6 years relevant experience in risk & compliance in a corporate legal/commercial environment.
• A post graduate specialization in Compliance and/or Risk Management will be an added advantage.
• Any additional social- and environmental performance management studies and/or courses in this area are beneficial.
• Track record of conceptual ability at an operational level coupled with sound commercial judgement;
• Auditing knowledge/expertise;
• Legal- and associated Risk Mitigation & Management knowledge;
• Business Acumen and Project Management knowledge;
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Computer literate;
• Risk- & Compliance monitoring approaches;
• Legal requirements for financial services Research;
• Policy & Programme Design/Proposals;
• Systematic analysis and research;
• Sound analytical thinking;
• Able to articulate technical or complex issues clearly and succinctly;
• Attentive to detail;
• Able to adjust style of communication according to the needs of audience;
• Emotional maturity;
• Ability to effectively work under pressure.
