Key Responsibilities

• Quality on repairs and maintenance of all plant on site as per OEM specifications
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical 12V and 24V systems on Caterpillar, equipment
• Job cards and plant inspection documents to be completed completely
• Maintain a high standard in all working areas in line with company policies, procedures and objectives
• Proper LOTOTO procedures
• Ensure all incidents and accidents are reported and recorded
• Maintain high standard of daily inspections and PM adherence
• Ensure tools used are in safe working condition

Requirements

• Grade 10 certificate
• Trade Certificate
• Valid Code 8 Drivers License
• 3-5 years’ working experience within a Mining Environment
• Reading schematics and OEM diagrams
• System calibration and programming
• Electrical diagnostics
• Wiring repairs
• Advanced diagnostics training and OEM CAT training will be an added advantage
• Highly proficient in English
• Extensive knowledge on CAT E.T and SIS2.0
• Extensive knowledge on Air-Conditioning on CAT fleets
