Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle in Namibia for all employees of all GLC business units represented in Namibia including:
• Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing to hiring and onboarding candidates for the WDH branch.
• Support line managers with advise on people and performance management. Assist with organizational training and development efforts in finding training programs, and
• Ensure compliance to local labor law, applicable regulations and ethical standards throughout all HR and people management practices.
• Manage Labour Relations matters (disciplinary hearings, counselling and grievances, CCMI representation.
• Drive positive employee engagement and a values-based culture Safety & JUST culture throughout all HR processes and collaboration with employees, line managers and stakeholders.
• Roll out employee engagement and retention strategy with the relevant line management.
• Represent the Namibia team’s local needs and realities within the GLC global HR team.
• Support the facilitation of soft skills and compliance trainings
• Support the payroll function
• Manage GLC’s benefit and remuneration packages
• Drive continuous local HR policy updates
• Provide HR reports and data analysis
• Manage HR administrative tasks
• Support Strategic HR Initiatives
