Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Operations and Support department, in charge of cement workshop, clinker workshop, power generation workshop, mining workshop, machine repair, electromechanical, and vehicle maintenance
• Periodically inspect the operations of the equipment for troubleshooting purposes
• Oversee emergency and scheduled repairs/maintenance of Equipment and Machinery for safety purpose and ensuring optimal operations
• Formulate equipment emergency repair plan and implement it in conjunction with production tasks
• Plan, organize and delegate management personnel to complete emergency/scheduled repairs
• Analysis of the causes of faults in Equipment and Machinery
• Supervise and inspect the overall quality and progress of all departments while providing technical guidance wherever needed
• Management and deep knowledge of spare parts (Participating in the procurement process), departmental distribution of spare parts upon request, and overseeing the warehousing of inventory/ parts bought and/or returned)
• Coordinate Health and Safety initiatives, exercises and trainings in collaboration with the HSEQ office to ensure a healthy and safe workforce and environment.

Requirements

• Junior College Certificate/Diploma majoring in Cement Technology, Architectural Engineering, Mechatronics, or Structural Engineering Technology
• At least 5 years working experience in the cement industry, of which 3 years’ experience as a Manager or in production time with output equal to or above 2 500 tonnes/day, is mandatory
• Familiar with the silicate process, proficient in the working principles of the vertical mill, rotary kiln, grate cooler, inclined zipper, cement mill, powder separator, roller press and equipment structure
• Familiar with troubleshooting methods and production organization principles
• Description/Ability to ensure optimum electricity/power consumption, equipment operation rates and, other economic indicators meet the set required standards by the company.
