We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Property & Facility Manager to oversee and manage the property & facilities of our health facility in Namibia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the facilities and for maintaining the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance & repair of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, Generator, Gas Plant and other systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Provide regular reports on the condition of the facilities and other maintenance or repair needs
- Manage relationships with tenants and contractors
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and serviced
- Manage inventory of supplies and equipment
- Ensure the facility is accessible to people with disabilities and meets accessibility requirements
- Develop, implement and manage maintenance schedules and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and building codes
- Experience in managing budgets and negotiating contracts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
