Key Responsibilities

• To assist the Superintendent Estimations to provide reasonable and accurate estimates for tenders/projects for Namdock.

Requirements

• Recent Graduates in position of a grade 12 certificate with mathematics, science, or technical drawing plus a Diploma at NQF level 6 or Bachelors’ Degree at NQF level 7 in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related disciplines with no experience.
• OR
• Grade 12 certificate with mathematics, science, or technical drawing plus a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering NQF 6.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in Ship Repair Estimations or Quantity Surveying field, Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering environment.
• OR
• Grade 12 certificate with mathematics, science, or technical drawing plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering NQF 7.
• A minimum of 3 years in marine engineering or mechanical maintenance or project estimation environment.
• Successful candidates will be placed in the position according to their qualifications and experience.
