POSITION: ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
REPORTING TO: ACCOUNTANT
LOCATION: COSDEF SUPPORT UNIT (SWAKOPMUND)
DURATION: PERMANENT

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance (NQA Level 7).

• A minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience.

• A valid certificate of conduct

OTHER COMPETENCIES

• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting information systems, including Sage / Pastel Evolution.

• Ability to work with people from diverse social backgrounds.

• Must be well-organized, neat, and have great attention to detail.

• Fully computer literate in the Microsoft Office Suite (testing will be conducted).

• Self-motivated team player with strong communication and supervisory skills.

• Fluent in English (knowledge of other local languages will be an added advantage)

• Management and Financial Reporting

• Payroll, Debtors, and Creditors

• Audits

• Managing local and international projects

• Providing technical support and guidance to COSDECs
