SENIOR MANAGER: PROPERTIES, SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS
(PATERSON JOB GRADE D5)
DUTY STATION: HEAD OFFICE

Primary Purpose of the Position:

• To oversee Divisions and Sections that renders corporate support pertaining to properties, supply chain and logistics.

Key Performance Areas:

• Properties/ Facilities Management and Valuation

• Supply Chain Management (Procurement Management)

• Logistics and Transport Management Section

• Strategy Management

• Stakeholder management and communication

• Planning, financial management and control

• Project Management

• Human Resources Management and Development

• Customer Care (internal and external)

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or B-Tech Degree in Engineering

• Registration with Namibia Institute of Architects and Quantity Surveyors or registered with the Namibian Engineering Council

• Master Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

• At least 10 years experience in financial / quantity surveying / asset / capital projects / property management of which 5 years in a senior management role.

• Extensive experience in financial management and planning of assets

• Understanding of Namibian legislation pertaining to the Public Procurement Act and its regulations especially legal compliance

• Professional project management skills and a proven record

• Supply chain and logistics knowledge pertaining to fleet and fuel cards, transportation of staff, space planning for staffing expansions

Personal Requirements:

• Fluency in both written and spoken English

• Good problem solving and decision-making skills

• Understanding Health and Safety Policies

• Negotiation Skills

• Advanced Financial and Accounting skills

• Availability to travel as and when required.
