ADVERTISEMENT: HI-AB TRUCK ASSISTANT X 1 – MATERIAL HANDLING
Location: Walvis Bay (stationed at mine site).

The position’s main responsibilities are:

• Daily pre-trip inspections together with the Hi-Ab Truck Operator.

• Daily cleaning of the Hi-Ab Truck.

• Assist the Hi-Ab Truck Operator to place out riggers in the right position.

• Performing any other duties as may be requested from time to time & might be reasonably expected from a Hi-Ab Truck Operator.

The suitable candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:

• Namibian Citizen with Grade 12.

• Knowledge of equipment and previous experience as a Hi-Ab Truck Assistant will be an added advantage.

• Must have excellent eyesight.

• Be able to adhere to principles and values (high integrity).

• Must have high attention to detail and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

• Have good verbal, and written communication skills (English and Afrikaans).

• Be stress resilient and able to cope with a demanding work life (including long working hours).

• Be able to work independently as well as in a team.

• Must have sober habits.

• Must have a valid code of conduct (Police Clearance) not older than 3 months.
