SMEI Projects Namibia is seeking experienced skilled personnel to lead and coordinate construction activities at our project sites in Namibia. The scope of services includes the installation of structural steelwork, platework, tanks, piping, and mechanical equipment (SMPP).

QA/QC INSPECTOR

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project quality plans, procedures and standards.

• Provide technical guidance to the project teams and mentor.

• Maintain detailed inspection records, QA & QC documentation and audits.

• Verify compliance with codes and client specifications.

• Handle NCR/CAR reports

• Close out of Data book

• Good people skills

Requirements:

• Proven track record (10+ years’) in the role as a QA/QC Inspector on construction sites.

• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards and quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent).

• ISO 3834 knowledge

• Level 1 and 2 SAIW or equivalent

• NDT experience MPI, RT, UT and PI

• Review NDT docs and procedures

• Ability to lead and motivate onsite teams
