TEMPORARY ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE x2

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure that all revenue generated by the company is accurately invoiced, collected in accordance with the collection policy, and meticulously recorded. This role involves the verification and posting of receipts, as well as resolving any discrepancies related to financial transactions within the accounts receivable department.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Invoicing

• Debt collection

• Debtor reconciliation

• Receipt Management

• Processing of Journals

• Processing of credit note and debit note

• Filling

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma [NQA Level 6] in Accounting and Finance or equivalent

• Two (2) years relevant working experience in revenue, billing debt collection

• Code BE drivers license

COMPETENCY/SKILLS

• Excellent command of the English language and local vernaculars

• Finance and Accounting skills

• Knowledge of Pastel Accounting

• Self-motivated and ability to work under-pressure

• Computer literacy

• Trustworthiness

• Ability to meet deadline
