Marketing Manager – Nammed Medical Aid Fund

About the Role:

Nammed is looking for a strategic and creative Marketing Manager to lead its brand, communication, and member engagement efforts. This role includes overseeing marketing campaigns, newsletters, social media, and events that promote Nammed’s services and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing & Brand Strategy

  • Develop and implement campaigns aligned with Nammed’s strategic goals.

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms and materials.

• Newsletter & Member Communication

  • Craft and distribute monthly newsletters

  • Coordinate content creation, onboarding materials, and cross-team collaboration.

• Social Media & Digital Oversight

  • Lead content planning and performance tracking across all platforms

  • Monitor analytics and continuously improve lead generation and funnel performance.

• Event Management

  • Plan and oversee member engagement events.

  • Ensure smooth execution and alignment with marketing objectives.

• Strategic Collaboration

  • Work closely with teams to align media and marketing with business objectives.

  • Manage external agencies and suppliers, negotiating effectively to maximise value.

• Market Research & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform strategy.

  • Report on campaign performance and provide actionable insights for future optimisation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in strategic marketing roles.

• Strong writing, editing, digital marketing and leadership skills.

• Experience in event planning and execution.

• Healthcare or financial services experience is an advantage.

• Must be a Namibian citizen or permanent resident (with a work permit.)

• Code B Driver’s license and own vehicle

• Should be willing to travel outside Windhoek and be available to work over weekends.
